Abstract

The paper offers a survey of contemporary attempts to restore human thought and language to a wider realm of nonpropositional thought; along the way it highlights pitfalls regarding anthropomorphism as well as dialectical subsumption, and attempts to show alternatives ranging from poetry to nonstandard logical forms like analogy.
