Astronomers' Lives
The Deep Blue Sky Of The Seventeenth Century
Keywords:
Copernican breakthrough, Ptolemaic mathematical astronomy, Cosmos and HistoryAbstract
The main aim of this short article is to begin to reason about the profound changes that took place during the 17th century, especially concerning astronomy and the epistemological change regarding the interpretation and vision of the night sky, while taking antiquity into account. Likewise, I will attempt to highlight the dynamics of astronomers' lives in that period, reworking data and perspectives of the time.
